Alchemist's house is my personal work. Conceptually, it is the home of an herbal alchemist, located deep in the forest.
I used a traditional PBR process with stylized textures to create a game-world style. I also used Blender's grease pencil to add a hand-drawn feel to the scene.
MODELING I made more than a few changes to the model itself throughout the process of making it from start to finish. I added many small objects such as beakers and pots to the diorama in order to refine the character's features, and I also modified the structure of the house itself to make it more stylised.
MATERIAL In terms of materials, I added a number of self-emitting materials such as liquids and flames to enrich the scene. I also added stylised glass materials and textures with alpha channel to create the ground and floating leaves.
IMPLEMENT I further optimized the textures based on the above process and applied them to the final diorama. In addition to the above steps, I further enriched the model by adding specular light and AO section. I also added hand-painted textures that were more like brush strokes than watercolors through the filter.
